Oh, the Places You’ll Go!

A beloved Dr. Seuss classic is heading to the big screen! Ariana Grande and Josh Gad will lend their voices to the upcoming animated musical adaptation of Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, arriving in theaters on March 17, 2028.

Based on Dr. Seuss’s celebrated 1990 book, the film will follow a young adventurer through the highs, lows and unexpected turns of life’s journey. The story has inspired generations of readers with its message of possibility, perseverance and all the wonderful places life can lead.

The movie will be directed by Jon M. Chu, director of Wicked, alongside Jill Culton, director of Abominable. Grande reunites with Chu following their work together on Wicked, while Gad brings years of animation experience, including his memorable performance as Olaf in Frozen.

And since this adventure is a musical, there will be plenty to sing about. Award-winning songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for The Greatest Showman and La La Land, are creating original songs for the film.

With a beloved story, an all-star creative team and plenty of Seussian imagination, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! is getting ready for an entirely new adventure on the big screen.
